Mary Elizabeth Frey Garrett

Mary Elizabeth Frey was the daughter of Irene Wesbecker Frey and Charles Frey.  Irene was Florence Wesbecker Campbell’s twin sister.  Mary was a close cousin to Florence Campbell Matthews and they had written and kept in touch for many years.
Mary Frey Garrett was born February 21, 1919 in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was the only child of Irene and Charles Frey.
This is a 1920 United States Census with Charlie Frey, Irene Frey and Mary Elizabeth Frey as 11 months old.  They were living in Jefferson, Kentucky.

This is the 1930 Census for Charles Frey as head of household and Irene Frey the Wife with Mary E Frey daughter at 11 years old.
I believe this is a photo like a Graduation photo.  The little year at the bottom says that it is 38 which if it is standing for 1938 she would have been 19 years making that the time that you would graduate from High school.
I like this one that had Grandma Florence C. Matthews hand writing saying that this was Mary Frey daughter of Aunt Irene and Uncle Charlie. She was very pretty and had a pretty smile.
Mary Frey was married to Wilbur L. Garrett in 1945 in Louisville Kentucky. They did have two boys Charles L. Garrett born in 1946 and Allen D. Garrett July 6, 1959

Death Verification of Miss Alma Wesbecker b. 1895

As I was getting ready to teach my third lesson on Family History at our church I remembered that I had this copy of a Death Certificate.  I had not scanned it in so I did that tonight and wanted to share it.  It is the Death Certificate of Miss Alma Wesbecker.  She was the youngest daughter of Joseph and Mary  Wesbecker.  Great Grandma Florence E. Wesbecker Campbell's youngest sister.  It was neat to find this in the house while we were cleaning.  It has information that she was single when she died and her age and other neat things. I hope you like it.

So I have been trying to find out more about Sarah and her family and I came across this head stone of Sarah's. John Milton Campbell's first wife was Sarah A. Abshier (b.1841) her parents were Samuel & Nancy Abshier. They were married February 7, 1867 in White County, Illinois.  Sarah died March 27, 1868.  In John’s obituary it said they did have one child but that child died.

I also found this photo of Emily A. Abshire
